At August Embers Designs, each custom piece is created with care, intention, and artistry. To ensure clarity and fairness, please review the following terms before commissioning custom work:

Custom Work Policy

At August Embers Designs, each custom piece is created with care and intention. To ensure clarity, please review our custom order terms below:

  • Consultations: Your first consultation is complimentary. Each additional consultation is $30, applied to your final invoice.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted total is required before work begins.

  • Revisions: The first approved design is the blueprint. Any revisions after approval are $30 per change.

  • Timeline: Custom orders take approximately 2–4 months from design to completion. Timelines vary by design complexity and materials.

  • Shipping & Pickup: Shipping costs are not included in the deposit and will be added to the final invoice. Customers are encouraged to purchase insurance for orders valued over $100. August Embers Designs is not responsible for loss or damage during shipping.

  • Materials & Sourcing: Material costs may fluctuate and substitutions may be necessary if certain gemstones or metals become unavailable. We will inform you of changes before proceeding.

  • Warranty & Repairs: Each custom piece includes a 30-day craftsmanship warranty for defects. This does not cover normal wear, mishandling, or shipping damage.

  • Communication: We respond to messages Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (excluding holidays). If client approval or response is not received within 15 days, the order will be voided with no refund.

  • Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. Payments made to date will be retained if the order is canceled after work has commenced.

By commissioning a custom piece, you agree to the above terms.
