Founded with the spirit of a late summer flame—glowing, golden, and full of promise—we exist to honor beauty in all its forms: through jewelry, painting, home décor, and beyond.

Meet the Artist

My name is Susan Espinoza, and I’m the artist and founder of August Embers Designs. My love for mythology and the literary arts began during my homeschooling years, where I was given the freedom to dive deeply into stories, ideas, and the joy of learning itself. Growing up along California’s Central Coast, I was constantly surrounded by the quiet beauty of coastal cliffs, native wildflowers, and the ever-changing ocean—elements that now echo through much of my work. My creative path deepened through my partnership with my husband, Pablo Espinoza, whose Mexican heritage introduced me to rich cultural traditions and a profound reverence for mysticism and symbolism.

August Embers is more than a brand; it’s a reflection of my inner child—curious, enchanted, and always seeking the magic in the world both seen and unseen. It’s that spark of imagination we all carry within us that fuels everything I create.
